How to make nutritious Banaba bread?

Ingredients

  • 3 cups all purpose flour or wheat flour
  • 2 cups buttermilk or whole yogurt
  • 3 eggs, lightly beaten
  • 1/2 cup Raw honey or maple syrup
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 2 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts soaked overnight

Process

  1. Soak flour in buttermilk/yogurt for 12-24 hours in a warm place, covered. Bread will rise even better when soaked for 24 hours.
  2. Now, blend in the remaining ingredients into the mixture and let it sit for 5-10 mins more.
  3. Take a loaf pan and butter it well and sprinkle some flour onto it.
  4. Pour in the mixture and bake at 350 degree Fahrenheit or 175 degree Celsius for 1 and 1/2 hour or until a toothpick comes out clean.
